rough night....

OMG what a night bodies in and out (I think most of the kids are now nursing a cold please please please do not let me get it!!!!!) and then waking up to Francesca pulling my eyelids up and saying wake up wake up I want to talk to you.....

LOL! My kids are so amazing... yesterday I was having a really rough day. You will laugh when I tell you what I was doing and how they knew I was blue. I went around singing that song I can face tommorrow because you live song(christian hymn).I didn't mean for anyone to know I was blue ,I really wasn't that sad just that the song was giving me comfort on a cold blue day. Well  they called my husband and asked to him them  buy me some new music (yes I adore music and it always makes me happy) and to shhh don't tell her.  They found out what I wanted by asking me who I was really into lately. sneaky little people!  So now I have a new album on the way I love them so much!  Just thinking of what they did is making me feel so loved and delighted that they are my children.

Remember me mentioning I was going to be shooting a lot of babies. Well it didn't quite turn out that way. I was doing mini  5 min shoots at the Lighthouse harvest festival all proceeds going to the Sandwhich Food Pantry.  Well they were pretty much were rained out. I think only about 6 families came through it was sad all the work that people put into it.

Here is a sample of one I tried to give them a soft vintage feel

I'll be back if they do it again next year. Though if I do next year I'm going to set up a larger set. I had planned on shooting individual children but everyone wanted family captures so they were a bit sad about that.
