Ok want a good laugh? Conversation in our family room
Francesca and Sebastian were talking about who they thought were adults in our house. “Momma you can't be an adult you are not big enough” (apparently my 14 year old who is taller then me is an adult but I am not) Francesca trying to make me feel better says but Momma you have a big butt (hey at least I have something that is big!) LOL!
We had the nicest day yesterday! It was so warm we ended up playing hooky going to the playground and library. We made lots of new friends with Ollie's "What do?" and had lots of laughs. It was one of those days you wish would never end...
If I get a chance I'll add a slideshow of our day, might be a few days before I can add though.
As I was laying in bed this morning surrounded by 3 babies I thought how quickly this goes.... With two older kids you do kind of realize how short the time is and it's a blessing and curse to know. Our older two still come to visit in the morning, one climbs in and the other comes and sits on the edge of the bed. So they all still come but it's different.....
Soon.... no more baby boy curls..... His father has been bugging me....... sigh....
How is that for a mixed title!!! I'm so excited the weather is starting to warm up and so I can really start shooting outside again. I have a cranberry bog session next week I'm so excited about. I've been eyeing that location for a while now and was given permission to go!
Pretty soon I'll be able to offer meadow shoots. If you’re a dreamer, romantic then these are the location for you. I would say they are my favorite but I have too many favorites.... LOL! I think my last session is always my favorite.
Lastly puddle shoots!!!! I love these too so much fun and the kids have a blast!!!! I can combine a puddle shoot with a more traditional session if you like.
You can find more samples of these types of sessions on my website LinenPhotography.com
Well everyone here is finally feeling totally better. I'm sad I was not able to shoot this little boy when he was bit younger. Darn cold! The best time to shoot newborns is in the first few couple of weeks after that you lose that sweet curl and they aren't as sleepy. He also had his shots the day before and was crankier then usual, we worked around him as best we could. Shoot a little, get him back to sleep, shoot a bit more. All natural light on location at the little guys' home. If you want these types of low key images I bring a backdrop that I can also shoot the parents if desired.
My favorite photos personally are the ones that are taking from a child's point of view. They are the ones I choose to enlarge for my home. A child's point of view pulls you into their world and enables you to view what they see. You also get some small details that are precious that are missed in more full body captures. These types of captures are really great when used as part of a storyboard. I LOVE them seriously my favs!
so now if you have picked up my blog you know that I am bad at updating it! LOL!
We've been so sick my entire family for weeks now. I just want to lay around and wish I could. My baby has a rash on his entire face he's been battling the boogie battle for so long. I have never had a child with so chapped a face it hurts to just look at it. I keep putting on vaseline all day long but it doesn't seem to work entirely just kind of like a bandaid so it doesn't get any worse.
Anyway we are alive and hanging on. :)
and of course what is a blog update without a portrait
This poor little guy was so cold. It's tough shoot at the beach when it's not summer, wish the weather would warm up.
and one from summer because I am so longing for it......
