another I feel like a rabbit who was late for tea must get things done must get things done......

Their ceremony was so beautiful both my daughter and I teared up and Nadia said She loved this wedding the most at all of all the ones we've been too. She said this one is the closest to how she wants hers to be. They seemed like they focused on family and relationships ,simply elegant and relaxed it was lovely and we felt so blessed to be a part of their special day.

Just a heads up too if you are thinking of booking a session for July or August I do not have to many dates left. Sept and Oct are still lovely for beach portraits and I might be offering something special for families that choose a leaf/beach session still working on that. :)

Loved this family and so I have to share!! I've only just cracked these images and I can't wait to work on more!

They were a family of three and their cousins,lovely fun kids!

I knew when we were chatting we would be a good match and sure enough we had such a fun time!

a couple of things to make you smile

Woke this morning to baby boy noises..... So so tired then suddenly my face is covered with baby boy kisses and then little wiggles as he settled in besides me.  I wish time would stop and I would always have a baby boy to wake me.

pain pain pain

I pulled a muscle or did more damage(I have to call in today so hopefully it's just a muscle) during a session this weekend and OMG I was in so much pain and now I'm super sleepy and out of it thanks to pain killers but I'm feeling a bit better though,thank goodness!!!

We had a great 4th did our typical. We marched in a parade,did the town activites (kind of like field day as a kid all kinds of contest then they end with the fireman spraying everyone with water and foam it's tons of fun! ) then spent the night at the beach with friends and family cooking over the bonfire and shooting off fireworks. It was perfection! 

A cute story from yesterday. I was resting in bed and Sebastian wanted to come in and say hi. Chris blocked at the door and said to him ,"No enter unless you say she is my wife." (Sebastian and him are always arguing over who can be my husband) So Sebastian says "She is your wife." but once he get through the door he runs away fast saying "But she's going to be mine when I grow up!!!!!" Then he does this evil little laugh OMG we were rolling!

I thought I would share this session for this week it's different I love how she choose places that meant a lot to her.

She is soon to be the national NE president for Independent Order of Odd Fellows

So we also took some in her hall in the style of the older images of presidents which were on the wall.

 

Love is in the air

yeah I know corny but it's true for me right now! This session ended up being a half session we were totally fogged out for the beach half I still think we captured some great images though.

They were so fun to hang out with,we had more then a few laughs over some situations! :)

and why not my new favorite love song,I just adore this! I love how it talks about love being an effort,a choice. It reminds me of a word picture someone once gave me that I think about a lot when I don't "feel" like doing something.

A friend shared this with me and oh this ,it's lovely....

What warmed my heart this week?
The things my children say for instance Francesca's comment on Nadia's freshly painted white toes. "Nadia your toes look like Fluff!" (fluff is a marshmellow spread you use with peanut butter fluffanutter as they are called)

My children's laughter,we went to the beach and it was so nice to see them all laughing and playing together though I have to admit it was a bit wild at times like when they played a trick on  Sebastian when he was in the portapotty. Oh his reaction so funny!!!

When the kitty will not let me alone jumping into my lap over and over again while I'm trying to work,finally I give in and he starts purring. The kitty's purring makes me feel happy.

This one will make me cry if I let myself think enough about it. When my cameras died this past weekend at a wedding it did spin me a bit into a funk and started me fretting it was amazing how my husband's loving support comforted me. Darn I cried but then too I was amazed that my daughter (she is an assistant at some weddings and is dying to start shooting herself) was also so kind and sweet. I so do not deserve all that love!

God's creation sitting at the beach watching the golden sun as it's setting with the long blue shadows,my children's laughter in the background. Nadia sitting besides me. I say to her "Oh how I love the ocean." and she says back "Me too..."  Those are the quiet moments I remember the most,the times I wish I could video them to play them back. You would think we rarely go to the beach but we live there and it still always moves my soul.

Hey ya! I'm around busy but around!

I have lots of fun images to share probably be back later today hopefully! Some really funny stories too like the session I did off Cape that the beach disappeared and he ended up having to take off his pants (yes he did have on the cutest pair of boxers) to get to some sand or the wedding that not one but TWO of my camera's died!!! A few sessions rescheduled due to the crazy weather ugh! But I even shot some images in what looked a bit like a throne and a bowling alley so it was an exciting and different week!!!

Look what i found a neat new way to share images.  I need to do some more digging for images since I don't usually keep older images on my computer(There is one from two years ago not sure why that was still around but there it was. ) So not a lot of variety but still fun for those that cant' view the larger slideshows.

This image doesn't look like much here but full size it's amazing then it' s Bw or color ugh!

I had to cancel a session  yesterday due to the rain which is always disapointing, so to fix that crave(yes I do crave shooting it's addictive to me) I spent a few min playing with my new light.  It has a great fashion feel I would never use it for an entire session but I think it's going to be great for serious fashion images.

My little Bambion vogue of course in an outfit of her making she is the queen of style Cheeky is.  Francesca could totally model she loves being in front of the camera.
